How To Be Nice: Encourage Each Other
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. – Ephesians 4:29
Critics are all around us. They are brutal and rarely follow the advice given in an earlier post by coach’s mom. Unfortunately, they won’t be going away.
To offset the critics and overcome the discouragement that so often sets in, coach wanted us to make a habit of encouraging each other with positive comments and reinforcement.
To help us, coach gave us three areas to focus on when looking to encourage each other.
Area #1: Encourage each other when you do something RIGHT.
Area #2: Encourage each other when you do something WRONG.
Area #3: Encourage each other ALL THE TIME.
Let’s find words that will instruct and build up. It can get tough out there. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were more people who encouraged and a few less critics?
